CKE Post Hole Digger Replacement Auger Bits Ice Bits Extension Set Spare Blade 8", 12" & 20" inch, 3/4" Shaft

I'm augering for a flag pole base and need a 40" deep hole with an 8" diameter bottom and a 10" diameter top. Of course in Alaska we don't have dirt, we have big rocks and little rocks, grin. The largest rock I encountered was about 3 pounds and 3" in diameter. After about 10 minutes of using my Milwaukee Hole Hog on the low-speed setting I was able to remove the rock from the bottom of the hole.After clearing the rock when I reinserted the auger I noticed that the 12" extension had bent, not broken and the weld held but it was bent at the joint. I will have a buddy weld it back but it's out of commission until then. The other two, the 20" and the 8" are holding up ok.Tomorrow is a mailbox post hole with the same dimensions... finger's crossed.I drilled the second hole and the two remaining extensions held up against a 25-pound rock that I had to use an ice bar to break free.Upon closer inspection, the weld on the 12" extension did not encircle the connection, it was only tacked on. I assume it's a QA issue.

Worked perfectly with my Hiltex 10525 Electric Earth Auger. It allows me to drill deep enough to ensure posts stay stable. Solid steel and perfect connection to the drill.

Really nice bit extensions the best thing about it is the SDS Plus that fits in a standard hammer drill. Better positive connection than just a regular drill

This set is working perfectly for my auger bits, for digging footers. The variety of lengths provides good versatility. Construction seems solid. Fits my 3/4 shaft auger bits perfectly.

the 1/2" chuck adapter only lasted 3 holes and it broke. Very cheap steel. The auger worked well though but I can't use it without the chuck adapter.

Works good
