These came in handy when needing to finish up my home project. plug and play in the rack and with the ethernet cables. Makes everything look clean and tidy!

I was looking for some keystones for my patch panel that were a little nicer than the normal plastic ones as this was for a home lab. I’m not overwhelmed with the quality of these. The aluminum jacket isn’t a snug fit to the keystone innards, so it can be difficult to get your RJ45s plugged in/out as they catch on the sides of the opening. They’ve all worked fine and passed through signal and POE. If I had to do it again, I would have just gone with plastic keystones. Not worth the upgrade price as the quality isn’t proportional. They look nice though.

The fit was tight in a monoprice keystone panel. I tested all 25 and they work great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.

I was hesitant to make this purchase because there are no reviews as of writing this, but I'll step up to the plate to help anyone else that is on the fence.The current Amazon options for ethernet couplers seem to be rife with claims of flimsy plastic clips and terrible connection speeds. That is not the case with these VCE Shielded Modular Couplers. These units have a great build quality - the metal housing is very sturdy and there were no defects in my order. Additionally, the plastic clips had plenty of bend and none of them broke when inserting them into the patch panel. I love the way the shiny metal finish contrasts the black network rack.I verified that my gigabit internet speeds are holding up just fine through these couplers - no noticeable difference from my previous setup.As for issues, the only thing I found was that there was a tiny bit of wiggle after inserting them into my "Cable Matters" patch panel, but I think this is normal and it has no impact on their performance at all.In conclusion, if you are like me and spent days hunting around Amazon for a large pack of ethernet couplers that get the job done, I suggest you go with these.

I was able to use these with POE configurations. As of now, I had no issues out of them.

I have these because I thought they would be exceptionally convenient to be able to rewire and sort the ethernet ports throughout the house, but as I started to use these, I noticed that many of them would simply fail to maintain connection once being put into the wall. The front side seems to work well, but the back side seems almost impossible to keep attached if you have a set of 4 on a single wall socket.I have tried several different rj45 clips and they all fail to stay locked in when the the cable is pulled slightly up. It is a good product, but I do not believe it conforms to rj45 locking standards.
