Compact laser range finding module
The module came with a card with a printed link which contained a quick start guide, a Windows demo program and the serial protocol description. The serial protocol description did not make it clear in what units the module was reporting the distance. The datasheet for IADIY LRFX00MLS, which appears to be a similar module, does a much better job of describing the measurement format.
